Specify the Wi-Fi Settings
From the touch screen, you can specify a number of Wi-Fi settings. For more detailed profile
selections, visit the hotspot web page (http://m.home or http://192.168.1.1). You can
establish any one of the following types of networks:
• Default (No secondary network). Main Wi-Fi only on the 2.4 GHz band. If you
configured a custom profile using the hotspot web page, you can return to the defaul
Wi-Fi setting.
• 5 GHz W
i-Fi. Main Wi-Fi only on either the 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz band. Use this choice to
transfer data at higher throughputs.
• Guest W
i-Fi. Main Wi-Fi and guest Wi-Fi on the 2.4 GHz band.
Note: Whenever you change Wi-Fi settings, any devices connected to the
hotspot are disconnected and might need to be reconnected.
To specify the Wi-Fi settings from the touch screen:
