7. Select Settings > General > Device.
8. From the Wi-Fi Standby menu, select a shorter time period.
The shorter the time, the longer the battery life.
The Submit button displays after you make a selection.
9. Click the Submit button.
Your settings are saved.
Adjust Display Settings to Increase Battery Life
Dim the screen to reduce the touch screen’s brightness level. Set the screen time-out to a
shorter period to reduce the amount of time to wait without the touch screen being touched
before turning the screen blank.
 To adjust display settings to increase battery life from the touch screen:
