Units Select
Syntax: UNITS_n <units>
where n is either A or B
Parameters:
<units> is of type <string>. All possible values of units are listed below:
“V” specifies volts
“A” specifies amps
“W” specifies watts
“W/cm” specifies watts/cm
2
“dBm” specifies dBm
“dB” specifies dB
“REL” specifies linear ratio
“J” specifies joules
“J/cm” specifies joules/cm
2
“ERG” specifies ergs
“E/cm” specifies ergs/cm
2
A subset of these units will be valid for a particular detector and acquisition mode.
Function:
Sets the units to be used for subsequent measurements. Once the units have
been set, all new readings are given in the new units.

UNITS_n?
Units Query
Syntax: UNITS_n?
where n is either A or B
Parameters: None
Function:
This query returns the units of readings currently being taken.
Returns: <units>
<units> is of type <string> in the double quote format. The possible values of
units are: “A”, “V”, “W”, “W/cm”, “dBm”, “dB”, “REL”, “J”, “J/cm”, “ERG”, or “E/
CM” depending on the detector and acquisition mode.
