3.5 INSTALLING THE GEARMOTOR
a
Incorrect installation may cause serious physical
injury to the person working on the system or to its
future users.
Before starting to assemble the automation,
complete the preliminary checks described in the “
Pre-installation checks” and “Product usage limits”
paragraphs.

Before proceeding with installation, it is advisable
to position the door halfway along its path and then
anchor the gearmotor to the foundation plate. This
ensures that the mechanical limit switches can self-
adjust.
If the supporting surface already exists, the gearmotor must be
mounted directly onto the surface using appropriate fasteners,
for example expansion bolts.
Alternatively, to mount the gearmotor:
1. dig a suitably sized foundation using the indicated
measurements as a reference
240 0 ÷ 10
4000 ÷ 50
400 0 ÷ 50
5
2. arrange one or two pipes for routing the electrical cables
6
3. assemble the four anchoring devices (A) onto the
foundation plate, placing one nut under and one over the
plate; the nut beneath the plate must be tightened so that
the threaded part protrudes by roughly 30÷40 mm above
the plate

4. pour the concrete and, before it starts to set, place the
foundation plate (B) at the levels indicated previously;
make sure that it lies parallel to the gate and perfectly level
5. wait for the concrete to set fully
6. remove the two nuts above the plate (C)
