Recording and Viewing Movies
Auto-Focus Mode
Choose how the camera focuses in movie mode.
Applying Movie Setting
1 Select T mode.
2 Press m.
• The movie menu is displayed.
3 Press the multi selector G or H to
choose [Movie options] or [Auto-focus
mode] and press d.
• The options available for the selected item are dis-
played.
• For information on using the multi selector, see
“Multi Selector” (c 8).
Option Description
Z Single AF
(default setting)
Camera focuses when the shutter-release button is pressed
halfway and locks at this position during recording.
a Full-time AF
Camera constantly adjusts focus, even when the shutter-
release button is not pressed. Choose [Single AF] if the sound
of the camera focusing interferes with recording.
