    • M
      Matthew HuertaAug 25, 2025
If the flash on your Nikon Digital Camera does not fire, it could be due to several reasons. Check if the flash mode is set to W (off), or if you've selected a scene mode that disables the flash. Also, ensure that On is not selected for Blink proof in the smart portrait menu, and that no other function restricting the flash is enabled.

      Emily WeberSep 12, 2025
If you are getting unexpected results when the flash is set to V (auto with red-eye reduction) on your Nikon Digital Camera, especially in Night portrait scene mode, In-Camera Red Eye Fix may be applied to areas not affected by red-eye. To avoid this, use any scene mode other than Night portrait, and change the flash mode to any setting other than V (auto with red-eye reduction) and try taking a picture again.

    • A
      Amy ThomasSep 18, 2025
If the recorded pictures are not displayed in auto sort mode on your Nikon Digital Camera, it could be because the desired picture was sorted to a category other than the one currently displayed. Pictures recorded by a camera other than the COOLPIX S6000 and pictures copied using the Copy option cannot be displayed in auto sort mode. Pictures recorded in the internal memory or on the memory card may not be played back correctly if overwritten by a computer. Also, up to 999 pictures and movies in total can be added to each category; if a category already contains 999 items, new ones cannot be added.
