Basic Steps for Shooting and Playback
Removing the Memory Card
Turn the camera off and make sure that
the power-on lamp and the monitor have
turned off, and then open the memory
card slot cover.
Gently push the memory card into the
camera (

) to partially eject the card

The camera, battery, or memory card may be hot immediately after using the
camera.
Internal Memory and Memory Cards
Camera data, including still images and movies, can be saved either in the
camera’s internal memory or on a memory card. To use the camera’s internal
memory, first remove the memory card.
