DIFFUSING THE LlGHT--------------
Diffused li gh t e li minates har sh shadows and creates
attractive portraits.
Th ere are two ways to diffu se li ght:
1. Bounce light off a broad re fl ective surface such as
the ceiling;
2. Use a diffuser between the fla sh and the subject.
Direct flash: Harsh, unflattering
lighting.
Bounce flash: Soft, natural-looking
lighting.
