To create a catch light for the subject's
eyes: Insert white paper into the S8 -20 's re-
flector slot so a small amount of direct illumi-
nation fills
in unflattering shadows around the
eyes.

Using A Diffuser
Place a translucent material, such as one or more
sheets of tracing paper, between the fla
sh and subject
to diffu
se light. It is recommended that you experiment
with different flash-to-diffuser distances and/or more
than one diffuser.
Use the S8-20
on TTL or M mode when using a diffuser.
