Brush Drive Belt
The brush drive belt is a stretchable belt, so there is
no tension adjustment. The belt can be installed and
removed under tension.
1. Open the side door and the side squeegee.
2. Remove the 9 screws (B) that secure the belt cover
to the drive housing, and remove the cover (A) and
gasket.
3. Walk the belt off the pulley. An effective method
to easily remove the belt is to place a rag around
the belt, and then pull the rag toward the pulley,
and the belt will roll right off.
4. To replace the belt, position it around the
smaller pulley, and then begin feeding it around
the larger pulley. Using a 3/8" socket extension,
rotate the pulley to nish walking the belt onto
the pulley.
• If you have difculty keeping the belt on
the pulley while you rotate the pulley, the
smaller round hole in the pulley is designed
to permit you to place a cable tie through the
pulley and around the belt to hold it in place.
