The vacuum hose might be disconnected or faulty, so ensure it is connected properly. The squeegee could be dirty, or the blades worn or damaged, so clean the squeegee or replace the blades. The recovery tank cover might not be properly closed, or the gaskets damaged, so check and clean the seating surface or replace the gaskets. Lastly, the vacuum system motor filter could be dirty, so clean it.
