3. Call functions
■ Making a call
1. Open the fold and key in the phone number, including the area code. If you key
in an incorrect character, press Clear to delete it.
For international calls, press twice for the international prefix (the +
character replaces the international access code), and then key in the country
code, the area code without the leading 0, if necessary, and the phone
number.
2. To call the number, press .
3. To end the call or to cancel the call attempt, press or close the fold.
Making a call using contacts
To search for a name or phone number that you have saved in Contacts, press the
scroll key down in standby mode. Scroll to the name or phone number, and to call
the number, press .
Speed dialing
Before you can use speed dialing, assign a phone number to one of the speed-
dialing keys, from to . See Speed dials in Other functions in the
Contacts on page 83. Call the number in one of the following ways:
• Press the speed-dialing key that you want, and press .
