Scroll up or down to the name that you want. If the contact is saved in the SIM
card memory, is shown on the top of the display. Press Details, and scroll to
view the details of the selected contact.
The subscribed names are shown differently, depending on the Contacts view
selection. See Settings for contacts on page 80.
Saving names and phone numbers (Add contact)
Press Menu, and select Contacts and Add new contact. Key in the name, press OK,
and key in the phone number, and press OK.
Tip: Quick save In standby mode, key in the phone number, and press Save.
Key in the name, and press OK.
Saving multiple numbers or text items per name
You can save different types of phone numbers and short text items, for a contact
in the phone memory for contacts. A text item may be, for example, an address.
The first number you save is automatically set as the default number, and it is
indicated with a frame around the number type indicator, for example . When
you select a name from contacts, for example, to make a call, the default number
is used unless you select another number.
1. Ensure that the memory in use is either Phone or Phone and SIM. See Settings
for contacts on page 80.
2. To access the list of names and phone numbers, press the scroll key down in
standby mode.
