Configuration Guide
3HE 16132 AAAB TQZZA Edition: 01
Description This command configures a MAC address for a VC. This command provides an option to
assign a MAC address other than the chassis MAC belonging to the CPM-A node. By
assigning the MAC address instead of using the chassis MAC address belonging to the CPM-
A node, operators do not need to change the MAC address when the CPM-A card is
physically replaced with another card.
The no form of this command reverts the value to the default MAC address specified in the
BOF.
Parameters mac-address — Specifies the MAC address of the VC.
