2. Getting started
Before you can use your phone, you need to insert a SIM card in it, and then install
and charge the battery.
■ Inserting a SIM card
The phone can only be used with a valid miniature plug-in SIM card. You can
obtain the card from your network operator or service provider.
Using the SIM card
• Keep all miniature SIM cards out of the reach of small children.
• The SIM card and its contacts can easily be damaged by scratches or bending,
so be careful when handling, inserting or removing the card.
Inserting the SIM card in the phone
• Before installing the SIM card, always make sure that the phone is switched off
and then remove the battery.
