CONTROLS
N500 Controls
!
WARNING:
Do not hold the gas safety valve plunger in (open) for
more than 30 seconds. If the burner does not ignite
within 30 seconds, wait at least five minutes before
attempting to relight the burner. Holding the gas safety
valve plunger in (open) for more than 30 seconds will
allow propane gas to pocket in and around the burner.
An LP gas pocket in the burner area can cause a fire
or explosion which can result in extensive property
damage, burn injury and/or death.

All N500 model controls operate on 12 Vdc. The
controls and their functions are shown in Figure 39.
Gas Valve-Thermostat
T Regulates food cabinet temperature by controlling
energy source. (1=cold/5=coldest)
LP Gas Mode: Controls flow of gas to the
burner.
AC Mode: Controls ac power to the ac heater.
(ON/OFF).
DC Mode (3-way models): Controls dc power to
the dc heater.
Gas Safety Valve: Read warning above.
T Plunger-type, spring-loaded valve.
T Manually operated.
T Press and hold to ignite flame.
T Release after flame indicator LED lights.
Flame Indicator
T Single LED (red).
T Lights to indicate LP gas operation.
T On when flame present at burner.
