6.3.9.3 SERVICE MENU – NETWORK – NODE
This menu allows you to set the network address and send/receive network parameters for the panel.
ENTER NODE NUMBER 0-240 >
TO DISABLE NETWORKING ON THIS FIP ENTER ‘0’
WARNING!! CHANGING THE NODE NUMBER CAN ALTER
NETWORK BEHAVIOUR AND SCRIPT PROCESSING.
MAKE SURE THE NETWORK CONFIGURATION IS
UPDATED TO REFLECT THIS CHANGE.

Actions:
Follow the on screen prompts to enter a node
number. To remove the panel from the network,
enter Node 0.
If a non-zero node number is entered, you will be
further prompted to enter if you want the panel to
transmit events to the rest of the network YES or
to receive network events only without transmitting
them (mimic panel mode) NO .

This menu is used to select which other nodes the panel will receive events from.
