There is a higher chance of severe injury or
death.
HOW TO AVOID THE HAZARD
Always wear your seat belt when riding in
the vehicle.
Be sure the seat belt is close-fitting across
your hips and chest and is latched securely.

Carrying a passenger in the cargo bed.
WHAT CAN HAPPEN
The passenger could fall or be struck by
objects in the cargo bed.
HOW TO AVOID THE HAZARD
Never carry a passenger in the cargo bed.
The cargo bed is designed to carry cargo
only.
The total weight of operator, passenger,
accessories, cargo, trailer tongue weight,
and the vehicle itself must not exceed 845kg
(1861lb). Carrying a passenger and cargo
can affect vehicle handling.
