5. Management / Setting the Printer
Menu > Print Adjust > Print Position Adjust
Menu > Print Adjust
Error Report Off Sets whether to print out the error details when an internal
error occurs.
Hex Dump Execute Prints out the data received from the host computer in
hexadecimal dump format.
Turning off the power switches the printer to the normal print
mode from the HEX Dump mode.

MPTray X Adjust 0.00 millimeter Adjusts the position of the printing image of the each tray.
X Adjust: Adjusts the position of the entire printing image
perpendicular to the direction of paper movement.
Available range: ±2.00 mm (0.25 mm increments).
Y Adjust: Adjusts the position of the entire printing image
parallel to the direction of paper movement. Available
range: ±2.00 mm (0.25 mm increments).
Duplex X Adjust: Adjusts the position of the image on the
back side of a duplex print perpendicular to the direction of
paper movement. Available range: ±2.00 mm (0.25 mm
increments).
Duplex Y Adjust: Adjusts the position of the image on the
back side of a duplex print parallel to the direction of paper
movement. Available range: ±2.00 mm (0.25 mm
increments).
Tray2/3/4/5: Displayed when an optional tray is installed.

Paper Black Setting 0 Adjusts finely if the black contrast becomes weak or blots or
lines become conspicuous when printing on plain paper.
If fine blots or lines appear, decrease the value. If the dark
part becomes light, increase the value. Set within the range -
2 to +2.

lines become conspicuous when printing on special paper.

SMR Setting Cyan 0 Corrects variations in print results caused by temperature
and humidity conditions and differences in print density and
frequency. Change the setting if the print quality is uneven.
Set within the range -3 to +3.
Magenta 0
Yellow 0
Black 0
BG Setting Cyan 0 Corrects variations in print results caused by temperature
and humidity conditions and differences in print density and
frequency. Change the setting if the background is dark. Set
within the range -3 to +3.

HU Setting Off This must be set when the printer is used again after not
being used for an extended period.
Drum Cleaning Off Sets whether to perform drum rotating before printing to
reduce lateral white lines on the print. Note that drum rotating
shortens the ID life.
High Humid Mode Off Paper sometimes curls if it is output when humidity is high.
Curling is reduced by setting [Mode1] or [Mode2].
Mode1/Mode2:
Set this mode when you want to reduce the paper curling
problems in [OFF] Mode.
If you are not satisfied with the result of [Mode 1], try [Mode
2].
[Effect: OFF < Mode 1 < Mode 2]
<Note>
This mode requires longer warm-up time than when the
mode is OFF, and the time required for printing becomes
longer.
[Print time: OFF < Mode 1 < Mode 2]
[Mode 1] and [Mode 2] require changes of process and
may reduce the life of image drums.
