4.9 - BLOCKING THE REMOTE CONTROL
• Block the wired remote control
• Press the and keys together; the remote control is blocked (no key active) and the icon
is displayed.
• In this condition, the appliance can only be controlled by the remote control supplied with the same.
• To unblock the remote control, press the and keys; the icon switches off.
4.10 - AIR FILTER CLEANING FUNCTION
• The wired remote control records the total operating time of the appliance.
When the time of use reaches the pre-set value, the iconswitchesontoindicatethattheltermust
be cleaned (see appliance use and maintenance manual).
• Perform cleaning; hold the key for 3 seconds to reset the message and resume the operating
time count from zero.
THE PRE-DEFINED SETTING VALUE OF AIR FILTER CLEANING IS 2500 HOURS
AND CAN BE SET AT 1250 HOURS, 5000 HOURS OR 10000 HOURS. THE SETTING
METHOD IS GIVEN IN THIS PART OF THE INSTALLATION MANUAL (RESERVED
FOR QUALIFIED TECHNICAL STAFF).
4.11 - SWING FUNCTION (SWING)
• If the appliance has the switch function, it can be used to adjust the direction of the air.
• Hold the key for approx. 3 seconds to activate the function; the icon switches on.
• Hold the key for approx. 3 seconds to deactivate the function; the icon switches off.
4.12 - FOLLOW ME FUNCTION
• When the appliance is operating and the AUTO or COOL (Cooling) or HEAT (Heating) mode has been
selected, press the key to activate the Follow Me function.
NOTE:
Switch-over of the operating mode automatically deactivates this function.
• When the Follow Me function is active, the icon switches on; the remote control displays the temperature
of the room and transmits the value to the appliance every 3 minutes.
