2. Read this manual carefully before performing any operation (installation,
maintenance, use) and follow the instructions contained in each chapter.
3. Keep the manual carefully for future reference.
4. After removing the packaging, check that the appliance is in perfect condition.
The packaging materials must not be left within reach of children as they can be
dangerous.

10. During assembly and at each maintenance operation, it is necessary to respect

appliance, as well as to take all the precautions suggested by common sense and
by the Safety Regulations in force in the country of installation.
11. In case of replacement of parts, use only original OLIMPIA SPLENDID parts.
12. If the unit is unused for a long period, or no-one uses the climate-controlled room,
it is recommended to disconnect the electric power supply in order to prevent
accidents.
13. Do not use liquid or corrosive detergents to clean the unit, do not spray water or
other liquids onto the unit, since they could damage the plastic components or even
cause electric shocks.
14. Do not wet the indoor unit and the remote control.
  Shortcircuitsorresmayoccur.
15. In case of functioning anomalies (for example: abnormal noise, bad smell, smoke,
abnormal increase in temperature, electrical dispersions, etc.), immediately switch
o󰀨theapplianceanddisconnecttheplugfromthepowersocket.
