SELECTING A LANGUAGE
1 Set the mode dial to P and turn the camera on.
• Be sure to removethe tens cap before you turn the camera on.
• You can select the language in all modes
2 Press @.
• The top menu isdisplayed
3 Press _ on the arrow pad to select MODE MENU.
4 Press _ _ to select the SETUP tab, then press _.
5 Press _ _ to select _, then press _).
6 Press _ _ to select a language, then press _.
7 Press @ again to exit the menu.
8 To turn the camera off, set the power switch to OFF.
SETTING THE DATE AND TIME
1 Set the mode dial to P and turn the camera on,
• Be sure to removethe lens cap before you turn the camera on.
• You can set the date and time in all modes.
2 Press @.
• The top menu isdisplayed
3 Press _ on the arrow pad to select MODE MENU.
4 Press <_ @ to select the SETUP tab, then press
5 Press _ _ to select _), then press _).
• The green frame moves to the selected item.
6 Press _ _ to select one of the following date formats: Y-
M-D (Year/Month/Day), M-D-Y (Month/Day/Year), D-M-Y
(Day/Month/Year). Then press _.
• Moveto the year setting.
• The following steps show the procedure used when the date and time
settings areset toY-M-D.
