Skipping to the beginning of a file

Press the 9 button while the
voice recorder is in stop mode, or
during playback.

current file

While the voice recorder is in stop
mode or playing back, press the
0 button.
Skipping to the beginning of the
previous file

Press the 0 button when
the playback position is the
beginning of the file.
• To skip to the beginning of the
previous file during playback, press the
0 button twice consecutively.
NOTE
• If an index mark is reached when
sk
ipping to the beginning of a file
during playback, playback starts
from the position of the mark. When
skipping to the beginning of a file while
the voice recorder is in stop mode, the
mark is ignored (☞P.53).
• DAISY contents skip in accordance with
the skip intervals set in [Skip Mode] of
[Book Menu] (☞P.87).
• You cannot skip to the beginning in
text files.
• Text files skip in clause units.
• When files are deleted on the recorder,
the Bookmark Position information is
deleted as well.
