Setting menu items
Basic operation
Menu items are arranged by tabs, letting you quickly set desired items by selecting a tab and
then moving to the desired item within the tab. Follow the steps below to set a menu item.
The voice recognition function can be used in this setting (☞ P.31).

Press the MENU button during
recording, playback or stop.
TIP
• While in stop mode
, you can use
the voice recognition function to
go to the menu screen (☞P.31).
• Some menus contain items that
can be set during recording/
playback (☞P.68).

Press the 9 or 0 button to
select the tab of the item that
you wish to set.
• Moving the cursor from one tab to
another switches the displayed menu
screen.

Press the 2 or 3 button to select
the desired setting item.
