3.1 CLOTHING AND PERSONAL SAFETY DEVICES
To use the equipment in safe conditions, adequate clothing
must be used for the equipment and working environment:
• Do not wear loose clothes, ties, scarves or similar
garments that could get caught up in the equipment’s
movable parts.
• Keep long hair out of the way and sleeve ends tight;
avoid wearing watches, rings, necklaces or other
objects that may cause injury.
• Use protective footwear, protective helmet, protective
gloves and in the case of high noise level, above
85dB(A), use headsets or other hearing protection
devices.
In all cases, refer to working environment safety regulations of the country where the equipment is being
operated.
3.2 SOUND LEVEL
The equipment has been subjected to noise level tests.
The tests were carried out on a load less equipment
equipped with its standard components, in compliance
with the procedures specied in regulation in force.
The noise produced by the equipment when working is
lower than 70 dB(A).
4. TECHNICAL FEATURES AND SAFETY DEVICES

• Operation by manual start of the pump.
• Limit stop device at the end of the travel of the stem.
• Nonreturn valve, which allows the lifting position stability
and prevents the load from moving uncorrectly.
• “Man standing-by” descent control.
• Maximum pressure valve that acts on the pump and
controls that the load support is not above the load limits
permitted by the manufacturer.
• Descent speed control device keeps descent speed within
legal rules limit, whatever could be the lifted weight.
• Safety device that prevents the lowering drive from being
unwillingly or fortuitously activated.
