10. TROUBLESHOOTING TABLE
Trouble Possible cause Remedies
The jack does not lift the rated weight. Dirty or damaged lowering device. Take the descent device off (REF. 35-36
Spare parts table). Clean it. If damaged,
replace it. Handle with care.
Cylinder’s gaskets worn out. Send the equipment to the maintenance
centre of your authorized dealer.
Dirty or damaged overload safety valve. Send the equipment to the maintenance
centre of your authorized dealer.
With the pumping action, the arm lifts but
descends to its previous position.
Check valve dirty or damaged. Dismount the valve and clean it with
compressed air. Handle it with care REF. 43-
44-45-46-47 Spare parts table.
The lift’s arm lifts slightly with each
pumping action.
The gaskets of the pumping unit have
yielded.
Remove the pumping unit body that houses
the gaskets and replace the latter: REF. 34

Lack of oil in the tank. Add oil to the tank through the plug as
indicated in the routine maintenance chapter.
The lift’s arms do not stay in position. The cylinder gaskets have yielded. Send the equipment to the maintenance
centre of your authorized dealer.

The arm does not reach the maximum
declared height
No oil in the tank. Add oil to the tank through the plug as
indicated in the routine maintenance chapter.
The max. pressure valve is sealed by the
manufacturer. In cases of failures ensuing from
it, send the to the maintenance centre of your
authorized dealer of the OMCN S.p.A.
If problems persist even after applying the above
solutions, contact OMCN S.p.A. and avoid any
non-specic operations.
Only purchase original spare parts. The list
of spare parts is included in this instruction
handbook.
Use only original OMCN spare parts for
maintenance operations. The manufacturer
cannot be held responsible for any damage
caused by the use of unoriginal ttings.
The use of non-original spare parts will instantly
invalidate the warranty.
