11. DECOMMISSIONING
SETTING ASIDE
If the machine is set aside for long periods, disconnect
all power supply sources, drain the tank/s containing
operating uids and protect all those parts that might get
damaged by dust deposits.
Parts that could be damaged by oxidation must be
protected properly.
SCRAPPING THE MACHINE
At the end of the equiment’s life cycle or when you decide
not to use it anymore, make it inoperative by removing
grease and lubricants from the parts concerned and
eliminate any deposits from hidden areas.
The equipment parts must be treated as special waste, so
dismantle it into homogeneous parts and dispose of them
in compliance with the regulations in force.
12. RESTARTING
To start up the equipment again after a long period of
inactivity, rst clean it thoroughly and lubricate it correctly
in the areas described in the maintenance chapter. Carry
out a general check of the efficiency of the equipment.
13. FACTORY TEST
This equipment has been assembled and set at work
by the manufacturer on its premises. The following
components of the safety devices and moving parts have
been tested.
1 Operational control of the lifting arm and general
parts.
2 Check for oil leaks or loss.
3 Check functioning of the lowering device.
4 Check and calibrate the maximum pressure valve.
5 Check functioning of the movement wheels.
6 Check correct functioning of the driving devices.
The equipment has undergone overload tests.
