Section 1 introduces the special features and functions of the CJ-series PLCs and describes the dif-
ferences between these PLCs and the earlier CS-series and C200HX/HG/HE PLCs.

parison between different Units.
Section 3 provides names of Unit components and their functions. Dimensions are also provided.
Section 4 outlines the steps required to assemble and operate a CJ PLC system.
Section 5 describes how to install a PLC System, including mounting and wiring Units. Follow instruc-
tions carefully. Improper installation can cause the PLC to malfunction, resulting in very dangerous sit-
uations.
