Why is my Omron M3 reading so low or high?
An extremely low or high reading on your Omron Blood Pressure Monitor can occur if the arm cuff isn't applied correctly, if you move or talk during the measurement, or if clothing interferes with the arm cuff. Make sure to apply the cuff correctly, remain still and silent during measurement, and remove any clothing that might be in the way.
What to do if my Omron M3 arm cuff pressure does not rise?
If the arm cuff pressure on your Omron Blood Pressure Monitor isn't rising, first ensure the air tube is securely connected to the main unit. If it is, check the arm cuff for leaks. If air is leaking, you may need to replace the arm cuff with a new one.
