Troubleshooting (Continued)

PROBLEM CAUSE SOLUTION
Filter Clogging Large chips clogging the lter
1. Check for a leak in the dust bin or lid.
2. Make sure dust bin has not overlled. Dust bin should be emptied before the dust
reaches top of container.
Fine dust clogging the lter
1. Heavy sanding with a drum sander or ne grit paper will cause the pleated lter
media to bind sooner than with larger size dust. Pulse lter more frequently.
System Lost Suction One of the three motors may
have reached its end of life
1. Replacements can be found in the Recommended Accessories section.

Remote control won’t turn
o the system
Electrical interference from
the motor is interrupting the
remote’s frequency
1. Power o and unplug the system.
2. Remove the cover from the motor starter box and nd the remote receiver taped to
the inside of the cover.
3. Take the black antenna wire from the bottom of the receiver and loop it outside
the starter box.
4. Close the motor box, pinching the wire between the seam of the cover and the
box.
5. The antenna wire can be further extended for improved reception if still necessary.
Use wire strippers to expose metal on the wire and attach an additional length.
