Testing with control solution
OneTouch® Verio™ Control Solution is used to check that
the meter and test strips are working together properly
and that you are performing the test correctly. (Control
solution is available separately.)
NOTE:
• Use only OneTouch® Verio™ Mid Control Solution with
your OneTouch® Verio™IQ Meter.
If you are experiencing symptoms that are not consistent
with your blood glucose results and you have followed all
instructions in this Owner’s Booklet, call your healthcare
professional. Never ignore symptoms or make significant
changes to your diabetes management program without
speaking to your healthcare professional.
Unusual red blood cell count
A hematocrit (percentage of your blood that is red blood
cells) that is either very high (above 60%) or very low
(below 20%) can cause false results.
