Warning buzzers
When starting the engine or while driving:
z if dr iv er ’s s ea t b el t i s n o t f a st e n ed,
z if passenger’s seat belt is not fastened
when the seat occupancy recognition
system detec ts that the passenger’s seat
is occupied,
z if the doors or the luggage comp artment
hav e not be en p rope rly clos ed when
startin g-off,
z if the hand brake is applied at speeds
ov er 8 km /h (5 mph),
z while operating the indicators.
When the vehicle is parked and the driver’s
door is opened:
z if the head la mps or parking lamps a re
switch ed on ,
z when the key is in the ignition switch,
z if any door remains open when the doors
are locked with the remote control 3.

Windscreen wipers
To switch on, p ush lever upwards.
Switch to next setting up or down:
gently p ush lever.
In case of light rain or mist, m ov e le ve r
downwards from position O to position Q
and release: Sing le swipe. Hold for
additional wiping cycles. Lever returns
automatic ally to position O when released.
Return the lever to its original position to
switch off.

Ad just able wi per interval
To set the wiper interval to a value between
3 and 10 seconds:
Switc h on ig nition. Move lever upw ards
from position O to timed interval wipe P.
S wivel a djus tme nt b and O to the desired
setting: The bars to the left of the
adjustment ba nd represent wiping
frequency.
Larger bars near the top represent more
freq ue n t w ip ing, an d the sm aller bars ne ar
the bottom represent less frequent wiping.
z =Fast

P = Timed interval wipe
O =Off
