CD m essages
The message ‘CHECK DISC ’ appears on the
display if a problem occurs and the
CD player does not operate correctly .
If this message appears or if the CD is
ejected automatically, it could be for one of
the following rea sons:
– The CD is dirty, scratched, wet, or
up side down.
– The air is very humid.
If so, wait approx. one hour and try
again.
– There may have been a problem while
burning the CD.
– The label may be caught in the
CD player.
–It is very hot.
When the temperature returns to
normal, the CD should play.
– You are driving on a very rough road.
When the road surface becomes
smoother, the CD should play.
If the CD is not playing correctly, for any
other reason, try a known good CD.
If any error occurs repeated ly or if an error
cannot be corrected, we recom mend that
you consult an Opel Service Partner.
If the radio displays an error m essage,
write it down and provide it to your retailer
when reporting the problem.
Usi ng the auxi liary input ja ck
Your Infotainment system has an auxiliary
input jack b located on the lower right
side of the Entertainment Head Unit (EHU).
This is not an audio output;
Do not p lug he adph on es in to th e
auxiliary input jack b.
You can however, connect an external
audio device such as a laptop computer 3,
MP3 p layer 3, CD changer 3, or c assette
player 3, to the auxiliary input jack b for
use as another audio source.
To use a portable audio player, connect a
3.5 mm phone plug to the auxiliary inp ut
ja c k b.
When a device is connected, to begin
playing audio from the device throug h the
vehicle’s speakers, proceed as follows;
You are listening to a CD/MP3.
Press the CD/AUX a button.
Audio from the external audio device
connected starts to play.
z If a portable audio player is not
connected, “No Input Device Found”
appears on the display.
z If the volume of the connected
portable audio player does not go as
loud or soft as you wish using the
X e k nob (see pa ge 81), you may
need to make additional volume
adjustments on the portable audio
player itself.
To switch back to the CD/MP3 you were
playing , press the CD/AUX a button
aga in.
To switch to radio mode while a portable
audio device is playing, press the BAND h
button.
z The portable audio device continues to
play, so you may wish to stop it or turn
it off.
