Configuring Messaging Settings
1. On the Home screen, touch > Messaging.
2. Touch > Settings.
3. Touch an option and change the necessary settings:
• Delete old messages: Select this option to
delete old messages as limits are reached.
• Text message limit: Select to specify the
maximum limit of text message per
conversation.
• Multimedia message limit: Select to specify
the maximum limit of multimedia message per
conversation.
• Delivery reports: Select to request a delivery
report for each sent text message.
• Manage SIM card messages: Select to
manage messages stored on the SIM card.
• Delivery reports (MMS): Select to request a delivery report for each sent
multimedia message.
• Read reports: Select to request a read report for each sent multimedia
message.
• Auto-retrieve: Select to automatically retrieve new messages.
• Roaming auto-retrieve: Select to automatically retrieve new messages
while roaming.
• Notifications: Select to display message notifications in status bar.
• Sound: Select to choose a ringtone of new messages.
• Vibrate: Select to disable/enable vibration when new message is received.
• Touch to Restore default settings.
