Dispatcher Activities
The work zone is added to the resource. If any work zone shapes are added to this work zone, they are
displayed on the map.
Add a Resource Location
A resource location denotes the location at which the resource works or resides. You can configure multiple locations,
for example, to indicate the resource's start and end locations.
1. Log in to .
2. Open the Resource Info page for the resource for which you want to set the location.
3. Click Locations.
The Locations page is displayed for the selected resource. This page displays the existing locations for this
resource, and the locations that are inherited by the resource based on its organizational hierarchy.
4. Click the plus sign in the Resource Locations section.
5. In the Label field, add a label for the location.
6. In the Address field, add the address.
The address is resolved and the location is displayed on the map.
7. If you want to locate the address manually, click Locate Manually and fill up these fields:
Field Name Action
Address Enter the address of the location.
City Enter the city in which the address is located.
Country Enter the country in which the address is located.
ZIP/Postal Code Enter the zip or postal code of the location.
State Enter the state in which the address is located.
Latitude/Longitude Enter the coordinates of the address.
8. Enter the values for the custom travel keys, if any.
You can use this field if you have created custom activity properties on the resource location to store the travel
key to use with the ‘Calculate travel’ feature.
9. Click Submit.
The location is added to the Resource Locations list on the Locations page.
Manage Resource Locations
A resource location denotes the location at which the resource works. You can configure multiple locations and indicate
the day on which the resource operates from a location. If you have configured a Group Location, it is available under
the Shared Locations column on the Locations screen. You can manage locations from Oracle Field Service Mobile for
Android and iOS as well.
To add, modify, or delete a resource location:
1. Log in to Oracle Field Service Core Manage Service.
