3-62 Operation
In the HTML5 interface, navigate to I/O Settings. At the bottom you will see RATINGS ENCODER. To insert a
ratings encoder, you will need to jumper the AES 2 output to your encoder. Next, take the encoder’s output and
insert it into SYNC IN on the rear of the 5950. Once complete, you will set ratings to ENABLE, choose where you
want the encoding inserted (either after the AGC for stations using one encoder for FM and HD, or before the
composite signals for stations that are not transmitting HD)

The system tab opens up three options

x Backup and Restore
x Software Update
DIAGNOSTICS
The DIAGNOSTICS screen is useful in that it shows the current version running on the 5950, as well as other
information that will be useful should you need to contact technical support with an issue.
