CONNECTING TO THE 5950 via WEB INTERFACE
The default address for the 5950 is 192.168.254.254 with a subnet of 255.255.255.0 and the gateway address
0.0.0.0. It is preferred that you use a static IP address as opposed to HDCP. You may assign a static IP address of
your own using standard network protocols. Please use a switch between the PC and 5950 when connecting to set
up a proper network.
The 5950 has a default USER NAME and PASSWORD that you will be prompted to input upon connection to
continue. They are:
USERNAME: ADMIN (all caps)
PASSWORD: 1234
To change the default username and password:
From the main panel, select SETUP then ACCESS CONTROL. You will see the default ADMIN account that you
logged in to. From here you can ADD an account, or DELETE the existing ADMIN account so the processor can be
accessed by any computer on the network.
CONNECTING WITH A BROWSER
x Open a browser and point it to the IP address you set for the 5950.
x If configured properly you will see the browser connect along with metering and control options.
