Operations sequence General instructions
cpg.0: GIS medium-voltage switchgear,
gas insulated, up to 40.5 kV,
in accordance with IEC Standard
Voltage transformer disconnector operation
This characteristic is only available in the following
models:
• cpg.0-v up to 36 kV, 1250 A outgoing current and
25 kA short-circuit current.
• cpg.0-v up to 12 kV, 2000 A outgoing current and
25 kA short-circuit current.
Initial operations
Starting position:
Feeder disconnector OPEN, earthing switch CLOSED
and circuit-breaker CLOSED. See operations sequences
in chapter 7.1.2.
Check that there is no voltage in the outgoing cables:
the indicator lights in ekor.ivds voltage detectors must
be switched o (see chapter 8.1 for more information).
1. Remove the cable compartment cover.

Disconnecting the voltage transformers
The voltage transformer disconnector's actuating
mechanism is located in the bottom left-hand side of the
cable compartment.
