Note: The .local portion of the hostname denotes the local domain used in combination with
multicastDNS(mDNS).Itisemployedwhenusingthesensorinalocalnetworkenvironmentwith
supportingoperatingsystemservices. Thismeanswhen thesensorisdirectlyconnectedtothe
host machine or ifthe host machine and sensor areon the same network connected througha
routerorswitch. Ifyouaretrying toconnecttothe sensoronanother domainwith asupporting
DHCP and DNS server configuration you should replace the .local with the domain the sensor
is on. For example, if the sensor is connected to a network with domain ouster-domain.com the
