Configuration Response
OFF
Donot outputa SYNC_PULSE_OUTsignal.
INPUT_NMEA_UART
Reconfigures the MULTIPURPOSE_IO port as an input.
SeeSection 25.3formoreinformation.
OUTPUT_FROM_INTERNAL_OSC
Output a SYNC_PULSE_OUT signal synchronized with
theinternalclock.
OUTPUT_FROM_SYNC_PULSE_IN
Output a SYNC_PULSE_OUT signal synchronized with
aSYNC_PULSE_IN providedtothe unit.
OUTPUT_FROM_PTP_1588
Output a SYNC_PULSE_OUT signal synchronized with
anexternalPTP IEEE1588 master.
OUTPUT_FROM_ENCODER_ANGLE
Outputa SYNC_PULSE_OUTsignalwith auserdefined
ratein anintegernumberof degrees.
When thesensor’s multipurpose_io_mode isset toOUTPUT_FROM_INTERNAL_OSC, OUTPUT_FROM_SYNC_PULSE_IN,
orOUTPUT_FROM_PTP_1588, then sync_pulse_out_frequency (Hz) parameter canbe used todefine theout-
put rate. It defaultsto 1Hz. It shouldbe greaterthan 0 Hzand maximumsync_pulse_out_frequency is
limitedbythe criterionbelow.
When the sensor is set to OUTPUT_FROM_ENCODER_ANGLE, then the sync_pulse_out_angle (deg) parameter
can beused todefine the outputpulse rate. This allowsthe userto output aSYNC_PULSE_OUT sig-
nal when the encoder passes a specified angle, or multiple of the angle, indexed from 0 crossing,
in degrees. It should be an integer between 0 and 360 degrees, inclusive. However, the minimum
sync_pulse_out_angle is alsolimited bythe criterionbelow.
Inall modes, the outputpulsewidth isdefinedby sync_pulse_out_pulse_width (ms).
Note: Ifsync_pulse_out_pulse_width xsync_pulse_out_frequency iscloseto1second,theoutputpulses
will not function (will not return to 0). For example, at 10 Hz rotation and a 10 ms pulse width, the
limitationon thenumber ofpulsesper rotationis 9.
