Maintenance Intervals

If the instructions in chapter "General Information" are not ob-
served during maintenance or service of the tail lift or column
lift, personal injuries and material damage can occur.
Before working on the tail lift or column lift, read chapter
“General Operation” from p. 26.

Checking the function and presence of the
safety and warning devices

Cleaning the tail lift

Checking the battery X
Checking the carbon brushes at the elec-
tric motor

Checking the oil level and refilling oil, if
necessary

Checking the bolts and nuts for tight seat X
Checking the screw fittings and pipes of
the hydraulic system
X
Lubricating the low-maintenance bearings X
Lubricating the guide rails X
Changing the oil X
Applying wax spray to the PC board X
Checking the marks on the platform for the
payload center of gravity and the operator
position (when operating the tail lift or col-
umn lift with the hand cable control) are
readable and in a good condition, refresh-
ing the marks using an abrasion-resistant
paint, if required
