3.6 Aligning the Transducers (Extended Velocity Range) (cont.)
2. Slide the end slot of the
guide plate
around the upstream transducer, and rotate the plate until the side slot is
around the downstream transducer (see
Figure 9
below). Then, align the mark on the upstream transducer
barrel with the guide plate mark. Slightly tighten the upstream barrel flange bolts to maintain the alignment.

3. Place the cover plate on top of the guide plate and slide it as far as possible until it is positioned around the
upstream transducer, as shown in
Figure 10
below. Then, tighten the screws to secure it.
