15.2.4 H16 (Outdoor Current Transformer (CT) Abnormality)
Malfunction Decision Conditions
A current transformer (CT) is detected by checking the compressor running frequency (≥ rated frequency) and
CT detected input current (less than 1.25A) for continuously 20 seconds.
Malfunction Caused
CT defective.
Outdoor PCB defective.
Compressor defective (low compression).
Abnormality Judgment:

Troubleshooting
Force cooling operation and measure:
1. Running current
2. Suction pressure
Replace compressor due to
compressor low compression.
Yes
No
Replace the indoor and
outdoor unit PCBs.
Check the functionality of
current transformer (CT).
Replace the outdoor PCB.
Yes
Is the CT open circuit?
No
Is the running current less than
1.25A?
For safety reason and to prevent component
breakdown, always switch off the power before
remove and connect the component.
