Preparations
eEnsure
connections
to
your
television
and
audio
equipment
are
correct.

Turn
on
your
television
and
other
equipment.

video
input
mode

the
television
to
suit
the
type
of
connection
you
have
made
(e.g.,
VCR
2).

to
switch
on
the
power.

OPEN/CLOSE]
to
open
the
drawer.

Place
the
disc(s)
on
the
disc
tray(s).
Insert
inside
the
guides.

Do
not
load
more
than
one
disc
in
each
tray.

You
can
load
discs
two
at
a
time
by
pressing
[DISC
SKIP]
to
rotate
the
carousel.
Caution:
Do
not
touch
the
drawer
or
carousel
while
they
are
in
motion,
and
do
not
attempt
to
rotate
the
carouse!
by
hand;
doing
so
could
result
in
incorrect
operation
of
the
unit
and/or,.damage
to
the
discs.

Press

OPEN/CLOSE]
to
close
the
drawer.
After
closing
the
drawer,
the
DISC
1-5
indicators
may
light
up
even
if
there
is
no
disc
in
the
disc
tray.
This
will
depend
on
the
disc
tray
position.
The
indicator
will
go
out
when
an
empty
tray
is
in
the
play
position.
Do
not
close
the
drawer
by
hand.

To
start
play
from
the
disc
in
the
play
position,
Press
[P].
or
To
start
play
from
a
specific
disc,
Press
[DISC
1-5]
to
select
the
disc
number.
Example:
To
select
disc
1,
press
[DISC
1].
Play
begins.

Sequential
modes
(1
or
2)
All
the
discs
loaded
in
the
disc
trays
will
be
played
according
to
the
sequential
mode
(1
or
2)
currently
selected.
For
details
on
the
sequential
modes,
see
page
15.
Pressing
[DISC
SKIP]
may
be
necessary
to
proceed
to
the
next
disc
after
play
of
DVDs
and
Video
CDs
with
playback
control.

DISC
1-5
indicators
After
the
unit
reads
a
disc,
the
DISC
1—5
indicators
are
as
follows:
No
light:
No
disc
Orange:
DVD
The
indicator
remains
green
in
other
cases.
