Basic play
A Sequential mode
Two sequential modes are available:
E Sequential mode 1
All the discs including DVDs will be played.
(When the power is turned on, sequential mode 1 is always se-
lected.)
elf there is a DVD or a Video CD with playback control in the
disc tray
When a menu screen appears, perform the operations on
page 13 to continue play.
When the disc finishes playing, press (DISC SKIP] to proceed to
the next disc, if necessary.
m Sequential mode 2
Only Video CDs and CDs will be played.
elf there is a DVD in the disc tray
The DVD will be skipped.
elf there is a Video CD with playback control in the disc tray
Playback control will be canceled automatically. That means no
menu screen will be displayed on the TV monitor and play will
begin from track 1 of the Video CD.
To change the sequential mode,
Press [SEQUENTIAL MODE}.
è Each time you press the button, sequential mode 1 or 2 will be alter-
nately selected.
For your reference
@When you change sequential modes during play, the unit starts in
the mode you selected from the next disc.
B Skipping discs
Press [DISC SKIP] during play or in the
stop mode.
e Each time you press the button, the next disc tray is selected.

During play
eThe trays rotate and play begins from the beginning of the next
disc. The unit skips empty trays. l
In the stop mode
eThe next tray is selected even if it is empty. (If the next disc is an
interactive DVD or a Video CD with playback control, play be-
gins.)

e When you press [DISC SKIP] during play of disc 5, play of disc 1 will
start.
