When playing Video CDs with playback control
Turning the shuttle dial or pressing buttons to perform skip, search
or slow-matron may take you to a menu screen.

Press [ENTER] after pressing the numbered buttons. (You do not have to
press [? IO].)
Remote control only
Widescreen software often appears as a letterbox picture when shown on
a regular 4:3 aspect television. Use 4:3 TV ZOOM to expand these pic-
tures to fill more of the television. (The sides of the picture are cut off when
you do this.)
During play
Press [ZOOM].
l Press again to cancel.
l 4:3 TV ZOOM is also canceled when you open the disc tray or switch the
unit to standby.
*Depending on the video format of the disc and current play status, thus
feature may not work as described.
oMenus may act or appear differently while 4:3 TV ZOOM is on.
*The picture stills again when you release the shuttle dial
