5. Place the documents on the hopper (

) with the scanning side facing up.
• Align the
document position so that the center of the smallest sheet will be fed to the center of the paper
feed rollers (

). If the document is not properly aligned, the pages will not be fed correctly.

Notice
• The height of the documents should not exceed the limit mark (

) on the document guide. This
may cause a paper jam or skew.
• Depending on the types of paper, the document may not be fed smoothly. In such case, reduce
the number of sheets of the document.
• The scanning width is different for the KV-S4065CL / KV
-S4085CL and KV-S4065CW /
KV-S4085CW.
