Clearing Paper Jams
Torn paper,
thin paper or paper that is creased on the top edge may cause paper jams. If a paper jam occurs,
remove the jammed sheet according to the following procedure.
CAUTION
• The image sensor covers may be very hot after scanning a lot of documents.
Removed the jammed sheet after the image sensor covers’ temperature has cooled.
1. Pull the front door release (

) towards you, and open the front door (

).
• Remove any documents from the exit tray.
