General Classification
Print a communication
Symptom
Referring to the printer
@ Paper is not output
A The picture is out of
order
B The picture was cut
off halfway
Hint
TEST : If only the print communication is NG and other
printing is OK, there is a high possibility that
there is a problem in the digital board's modem
and analog board buss.
The transmitted sending side's signal was not received.
If the DTMF tone is not heard, change the IC5
modem.
If the DTMF tone is heard, there is a problem in the
signal pass route.
Another problem
Confirm the repair method in the DEFECTIVE FACSIMILE
SECTION. (Refer to page 34)
A communication error
has arose.
The sending side's signal was cut during receiving.
Communication error causes :
1. User (unit)
2. Circuit condition
3. Other party (unit)
It is possible that there are other causes than the user.
Try communication in redial a few times.
Also, try communication speed in 4800 bps or lower.
Communication connection (modem)
(Print defect in FAX communication)
