3. Not using a DHCP server when the IP-PT is on the same LAN with the PBX
Only the
PBX IP address can be assigned automatically to the IP-PT in process of being registered to the
PBX. For details about registering the IP-PT, refer to "4.3.2 Registering IP Telephones".
Follow the procedure below to assign the IP address of the IP-PT, the subnet mask address, and the default
gateway address manually.
